Lab viral origins report

Umieść na stronie
  • Opublikowany 14 wrz 2022
  • The Lancet Commission on lessons for the future from the
    COVID-19 pandemic, 14th September 2022
    Viral origins
The proximal origin of SARS-CoV-2 remains unknown.
    There are two leading hypotheses:
that the virus emerged as a zoonotic spillover from wildlife or a farm animal,
    possibly through a wet market,
    in a location that is still undetermined;
or that the virus emerged from a research-related incident,
during the field collection of viruses,
    or through a laboratory-associated escape.
No independent, transparent, and science-based investigation has been carried out regarding the bioengineering of SARS-like viruses that was underway before the outbreak of COVID-19.
The laboratory notebooks, databases, email records, and samples of institutions involved in such research have not been made available to independent researchers.
Independent researchers have not yet investigated the US laboratories engaged in the laboratory manipulation of SARS-CoV-like viruses,
nor have they investigated the details of the laboratory research that had been underway in Wuhan.
US National Institutes of Health (NIH) has resisted disclosing details of the research on SARS-CoV-related viruses that it had been supporting,
providing extensively redacted information only as required by Freedom of Information Act lawsuits.
In brief, there are many potential proximal origins of SARS-CoV-2, but there is still a shortfall of independent, scientific, and collaborative work on the issue.
The search for the origins of the virus requires unbiased, independent, transparent, and rigorous work by international teams in the fields of virology, epidemiology, bioinformatics,
and other related fields, and supported by all governments.
In the absence of an unbiased, independent, and rigorous search for a natural origin by a multidisciplinary team of experts alongside an unbiased, independent, and rigorous investigation of the research-related hypotheses,
the public's trust in science will be imperilled,
    with potentially grave long-term repercussions.
It is therefore crucial to investigate all hypotheses fully,
not only to ascertain the source of the pandemic and to protect against future emerging infectious diseases,
but also to ensure the integrity of science itself.
The perceived lack of transparency to date by leading scientific agencies and laboratories is troubling and needs to be addressed.
Strategies to prevent research-related releases should include stronger international and national oversight of biosafety,
    biosecurity, and biorisk management,
including the strict regulation of gain of function research of concern.
When investigating the origins of any novel pathogen,
potential hypotheses should not be prematurely rejected to ensure that time-sensitive data-
such as early case information and laboratory records-are collected.

As a PhD biologist who worked in medical research and policy for 20 years, I am sorry to say that science has been compromised, not only by the intransigence of the labs and funding centers at the heart of the origin questions, but by many so-called scientists that carried water for various political agendas. The silencing of dissenting voices and the suppression of legitimate research has been appalling.

Thank you, Dr Campbell, for bringing this report to our attention! The authorities ruled out the laboratory-made hypothesis at an early stage, which was difficult to comprehend. Now that the coronavirus has killed so many people, put so many more people in terrible situations and redistributed wealth in a big way, revealing what those labs do is a must for every authority that hosts those laboratories. We want total transparency because this is a live-or-die matter to possibly billions of people!

Brilliant analysis! Could not be better, really. So much truth and unanswered questions discovered. Dr. Campbell, you deserve standing ovation. Thank you!

Thanks John. It’s great to see over the past year how you have really begun to question the ‘narrative’. At the same time it’s hard to watch someone awaken to the reality of how we are manipulated with information…

I recognise these too-little-too-late admissions/insights from Lancet et al as part of a process of intentional deceipt; where they're just quietly closing a door behind them once they allowed the trojan horse through. They had every opportunity and indication to be raising these concerns a long time ago, and they are only doing so now to cover their tracks.

Thank you for bringing this report to our attention, and for discussing it in such a measured and reasonable manner. It's so refreshing to see logic and common sense. To your point on being "conspiracy theorist," the joke I keep hearing is "today's conspiracy theory should be called a 'spoiler warning'." Now, that clearly isn't always the case, but if you had read this report even a year ago it would have been censored. From day 1 some were asking about leaks, gain of function, etc., and were shot down. I'm glad people are asking good questions now, but you're absolutely right - why did we abandon scientific reasoning for 2 years? And what damage was done in the meantime. All food for thought. Can't wait to hear you're reporting on this and other issues. Thanks.

You’re a hero. Treading a fine line of what’s allowed to be said to uncover the truth, thank you.

Thank you Dr Campbell for keeping us informed through this dystopian time.. What the Lancet is now reporting, I first heard on Darkhorse podcast in the first year spring/summer of the pandemic. The Independent Media ( I include you in this) I've been following, has not had to pivot on their messaging as the MSM have had to do. At least the Lancet is finally having the courage to write what was known all along. Perhaps the upcoming American elections might have something to do with this change of reporting? 🤔 Heads should roll as millions of people have died or been affected in one way or another.

Deeply worrying. Everyone's lives have been affected in some way over the last few years and the future doesn't look too bright does it 😔?! Thanking you for keeping it simple and factual.

Wow! Don't know what to make of this just yet. I am a scientist and it is a shock to see the integrity of science fall under a serious shadow. Thank you Dr. Campbell, my much trusted guide over the past two years, for bringing this very concerning issue to our attention

Unfortunately we are living in times where a few know what is really going on and a vast vast majority that do not have a clue. Thank you for having the courage to bring this article on your channell.

It's nice that after nearly three years the highest authorities on medical science are finally beginning to realize what anyone who wasn't an idiot knew in the first few weeks.

Being one who was very sick with covid symptoms for a month in Oct 2019, with other members of my family, I'm convinced we had it in Canada. Doctors could not identify it, even with multiple tests and scans and it was just assumed that it was a really bad unidentified flu.

I felt from day one it was incredibly convenient the wet market was within blocks of their institute of virology. The terrifying thing about all this is how many people distanced themselves from me over the last 2 1/2 years when saying that. It’s as if they wanted to believe lies.

As always, Thank You John for your ongoing research and sharing of information. Sadly, I don't see much chance for any real transparency any time soon. Just as with the "war on drugs," too many people in very high places are making a LOT of money on this. As long as they continue to do so, change is unlikely.

As a simple handy man I can only say that one of 2 possibilities seems much more likely to me. I have often mused of how quickly the wet market bat idea was fed as the most likely scenario.. I think if that had been the case they would have proved it by now . Long live John .I'm addicted to truth.
